Parental Support - Longspee Primary
At Longspee Academy we understand and celebrate the vital and important role that parents / carers / guardians play in the life of the school. Fundamentally, we believe that students of all ages make greater progress once they know that their parents / carers / guardians are interested in the school and their education; and are also a regular part of the school community.
We provide regular partnership contact via phone, email and in person, encouraging parents to communicate any information about their child to us on a regular basis. Every half term we will send home a Curriculum Overview, outlining the learning that your child will be covering and how you can support their learning at home. Our Parent Evenings will also give the opportunity to view work and discuss their child’s progress and any other important areas of focus.
If you are new to exploring Specialist Education Providers, no doubt you will have many thoughts at this important time in the life of your child; but we are here to provide information and reassurance. Should you have any questions, would like to arrange a conversation (virtual or other), or would like to make a visit to us, please do make contact with us.
We hope that this information has provided you with a substantive overview, and we look forward to meeting you in person (if we have yet to), whilst sharing the excitement and excellence that awaits.
